Who we are
Habib Workplace Advisory, APC was founded by Jawid Habib, an employment lawyer and workplace investigator with extensive experience advising employers across technology, healthcare, government, and hybrid workforce environments. Jawid’s career includes roles with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the U.S. District Court, Sheppard Mullin, Littler Mendelson, and as a senior in-house employment counsel for a global technology company, where he advised on issues impacting more than 800 employees and 1,500 contingent workers.
His practice centers on wage-and-hour compliance, discrimination and harassment matters, PAGA and class action risk, disability and leave management, pay equity, workplace safety, and high-risk personnel decisions. Jawid has overseen companywide reductions in force under the WARN Act, designed investigation frameworks that dramatically reduced legal exposure, and built scalable HR-Legal workflows that improved speed and consistency across operations.
As an independent workplace investigator, he conducts trauma-informed, impartial investigations involving executives, sensitive misconduct allegations, retaliation, discrimination, ethics issues, safety concerns, and hybrid/remote-work dynamics.
Throughout his career, Jawid has been recognized for delivering clear, practical guidance rooted in deep legal expertise and an understanding of how modern workplaces function.
